Sohail Tanvir (Rajasthan Royals, 22 Wickets)

Sohail Tanvir is a former Pakistani cricketer who gained a lot of success in the IPL and is a very fast and energetic bowler. He was in Rajasthan Royals when he became the IPL purple cap winner in the IPL season 2008. In a total of 11 matches, he took 22 wickets at an average rate of 12.09. Sohail Tanvir made his supporters and team proud of his excellent performance in that season.

RP Singh (Deccan Chargers, 23 Wickets)

Rudra Pratap Singh is an Indian former cricketer, well-known for his aggressively fast bowling in IPL season 2009, he marked his place in the list of purple cap winners in the IPL. He played for Deccan Chargers and took 23 wickets in 16 matches at an average rate of 18.13. RP Singh inspired many of us.

Pragyan Ojha (Deccan Chargers, 21 Wickets)

A former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha made his name in the IPL season 2010 as in that season he was the purple cap winner. He took 21 wickets in a total of 16 matches at an average rate of 20.42. Pragyan Ojha played for Deccan Charges that season and made his team members proud by winning the cap. 

Lasith Malinga (Mumbai Indians, 28 Wickets)

One of the right-arm fast bowlers Lasith Malinga is a Srilankan former cricketer and a bowling coach in the IPL. He is also known as the death bowler and his aggressive bowling has made him the purple cap winner of the IPL season 2011. In total matches of 16, he took 28 wickets at an average rate of 13.39. Lasith Malinga was also nicknamed ‘Slinga Malinga’.

Morne Morkel (Delhi Daredevils, 25 Wickets)

Morne Morkel is a South African cricket coach who has marked his place in the list of purple cap winners in IPL season 2012. He played for Delhi Daredevils and in 16 matches, he took 25 wickets in total at an average rate of 18.12. Morne Morkel played dedicatedly for his team and was the biggest contributor to his team.

Dwayne Bravo ( Chennai Super Kings, 2013 – 32 Wickets and 2015 – 26 Wickets)

A former Captain of the West Indies cricket team, Dwayne Bravo is popularly known for his performance in all the matches and his inspiring cricket journey. He made his name twice in the list of purple cap winners in IPL in the years 2013 and 2015. In 2013, he took 32 wickets in a total of 18 matches at an average rate of 15.53. In 2015, he took 26 wickets in a total of 17 matches at an average rate of 16.38. For both these years, he played for Chennai Super Kings, and with the support of his team and fans, he made everyone proud.

Mohit Sharma (Chennai Super Kings, 23 Wickets)

A right-arm fast bowler Mohit Sharma marked his place in the list of purple cap winners in IPL by playing for Chennai Super Kings. In a total of 16 matches, he took 23 wickets at an average rate of 19.65. Mohit Sharma is an inspiring player and contributed so much to his team. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Sunrisers Hyderabad, 2016 – 23 Wickets and 2017- 26 Wickets)

An Indian former cricket player Bhuvneshwar Kumar nicknamed Bhuvi is a prolific player who is also a purple cap winner twice. In 2016, he took 23 wickets in a total of 17 matches at an average rate of 21.30. In 2017, he took 26 wickets in a total of 14 matches at an average rate of 14.19. In both seasons, Bhuvi played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and made a huge victory consecutively by his unbeatable persistence.
